The creative team behind Chrysler’s “Halftime in America” Super Bowl ad has some big Obama fans.

Aaron Allen, one of the creative directors behind the Chrysler Super Bowl ad, worked on the logo for the president’s 2008 campaign, according to a book called “Designing Obama.”

And art director Jimm Lasser designed a basketball sneaker called the “Obama Force One,” featuring an image of the President on the soles and the message “A Black Man Runs And A Nation Is Behind Him.” He featured the shoe in a 2008 gallery exhibition with the tagline “The Dunk on McCain.”

But the ad’s narrator, Clint Eastwood, isn’t jumping on the bandwagon.

Leonard Hirshan, Eastwood’s manager, told The Daily that the ad certainly shouldn’t be construed as a pro-Obama re-election spot. “That would be a strange message coming from a man who is a Republican and a Libertarian. Eastwood is not a Democrat – far from it.”
